Koh Phi-Phi is a small island in Krabi Province.Koh Phi-Phi usually referres to as Phi-Phi island, this marine park actually consists of two islands, Koh Phi-Phi Don and Koh Phi-Phi Leh. Located equidistantly from Phuket and Krabi, they can be reached in about two hours. It is possible to stay in bungalow accommodation or, increasingly, trendy hotels on Koh Phi-Phi don. There is no accommdation on Koh Phi-Phi Leh. Famous for their clear waters, coral reefs and white, sandy beaches (setting for the Leonardo Dicaprio film The Beach), the islands remain remarkably lovely despite illcontrolled development. |
